Enjoyed meeting this neat 11 yr old gal, her Mom, and her Aunt!
They came from Connecticut to meet my wife, Mel, and me at our home in Florida on Friday.
We all spent a couple hours together. They enjoyed seeing our tennis academy program and meeting our full time students.
I’m interested in bringing in 2-3 girls her age together for a week-long summer camp in July that Mel and her sister will oversee. We are thinking about offering this type of camp monthly, if all goes well.
The main focus is to develop a tennis camp that will not only strengthen the girls’ tennis, but also deepen their faith in Jesus and lay the foundations for a strong, healthy bond with their Moms, who will participate in the camp activities, that will help them all stay close as the girls reach the elite levels of junior tennis when things really get stressful.
This is a wonderful family and a very fortunate girl to have such a great Mom who loves her.
Meet Aussie, Claude, Abed, Maiz, and Ana! (I’ve coached Aussie full time since June 2007 and Ana since September 2006!)
I enjoyed leading a terrific day of Leadership Training in Washington DC for our Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy full time students on our 2500+ mile road trip!
It is truly exciting for my wife, Mel, and I to be able to bring some of our junior players to ITF pro tournaments, where I coach Anastasia and advise other WTA players, and to also share with them amazing aspects of American culture!
The opportunity to attend and train at ITF pro tournaments teaches our students all aspects of pro player travel, training, competition! So important to learn at a young age. And the opportunity to share positive, healthy American treasures opens their eyes to art, history, science, and much more!
Here is a group of UITA students in the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum! We spent a day in DC after finishing the ITF pro tournament in Pennsylvania.
These players are from Australia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Jamaica, and Jordan.
Awesome, educational day!
Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy students will visit the Washington DC this month!
On the agenda of sites to see will be the White House, Congress, Smithsonian Museums, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. And, to wrap it up…we will eat at my favorite Chinese restaurant in Chinatown!
Before we arrive in Washington DC, we will drive to Raleigh, NC and then Landisville, PA where International Christian Tennis Association will host 2 mission trips at two ITF pro tournaments. I will also coach our Anastasia Kharchenko as she competes in both tournaments. UITA students will train on-site full time, too!
We have awesome host homes arranged for the whole trip! Everyone is so excited! We leave this weekend. Will post pics and updates here and on ICTA Facebook! God bless! Coach Scotty
Enjoyed meeting Claude’s Mom and Dad, yesterday!
They came to Florida from Switzerland for a week to visit with Claude, who is a full time student at ICTA’s Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy in Florida. Claude’s brother, Fabian, came with them.
The family spent a week together traveling all over Florida from the Florida Keys Islands where they went snorkeling to Orlando where they had a blast at Universal Studios and Universal Studios Hollywood!
They LOVE the impact our incredible faith & tennis programs have had on their son! Truly, what Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy offers is so very special and unique. :)
Wonderful, wonderful parents I am proud to call my friends!
God bless, Coach Scotty (386 793 0557 or teamicta@yahoo.com)
We have an underground mission outreach going on in Peru for three weeks. Can’t give you details now, but will when the time is right. Please keep in your prayers. :)
Players from Australia & Indonesia arriving Thursday.
Right now, scheduling for players to train full time here at Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy this summer from Florida, Ukraine, Australia, Mexico, France, South Africa, Jamaica, Jordan, Switzerland, Indonesia, Russia, Bahamas. :)
Will be fun this summer taking our players from up to 15 countries to tournaments!
I have had an incredible day at the 2012 Sony Ericsson Open, the world’s 5th largest pro tournament! Right now I am sitting just 7 rows behind the baseline in the stadium. That’s Sharapova on court reaching for ball!
Mel and I brought all Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy students with us. They had such a GREAT day.
I’ve heard so many stories of how they watched Federer, Nadal, and Djokavic practice. And all about the different singles and doubles matches they saw, and how awesome the whole tournament site is! I was especially excited to see Federer took the extra time to autograph our Jamaican and my Jordanian students’ Nike caps!
My brother in law and sister in law went to the tournament, too. Was great to be with them!
International Christian Tennis Association did not have a booth at the event for 2012. We hope to have the time (3+ solid weeks of work) to invest for 2013 or 2014, but right now we are focusing on different mission trip outreaches and ministry programs.
God bless! Coach Scotty
Morning! Hawaiian Kona coffee…mmm!
I returned last nite from coaching at an ITF Women’s $25,000 pro tournament in Clearwater, Fl. Drove one WTA ranked full time Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy student to compete in the tournament, and many of our Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy students to train on-site. So fun!
At the tournament site I was able to have a special impact on two WTA pro players, a Russian and a Ukrainian.
One I had known for many years who was top 50 WTA (on right), but we were not close. I was able to work on her footwork and timing, which had not been doing well for the past year. She improved immediately and was grateful for my willingness to help her and for my ability to see what she needed to improve and explain the situation in a way she could understand. This strengthened our relationship. She inquired about visiting me when not on tour so I could further improve her movement.
I enjoyed our time in Clearwater. So did our Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy students. Great mission trip for all!
Here is a pic (taken by David from Australia who I have coached full time for 5 years) of the two WTA players sitting with Ana after workouts, and my students from Switzerland, Jamaica, and Jordan as we all drove together to get lunch! Thank you for keeping them in your prayers. God bless! Coach Scotty

Here is a pic of my awesome Mom! She became our full time teacher for Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy students in 2011. Such a blessing for our students!
Mom has 3 Master’s Degrees! I know…WHAT!!? She also has 30+ years in public schools as a professional educator.
My Mom is special, kind, loving, generous, patient, thoughtful..and she LOVES Jesus. I thought you guys might like to meet her. :) In this pic she is holding a Valentine’s Day cake she made for everyone. YUM!
God bless, Coach Scotty
ICTA’s, Ana Kharchenko, ripping a backhand in main draw doubles FINAL in ITF pro tournament in Egypt! Incredible pic which shows just how hard Ana worked this off-season to increase her strength, fitness, and backhand!
Ana is a WTA ranked pro tennis player who was formerly ranked in juniors as #1 G18 Ukraine and #5 G16 in Europe. She currently travels the world competing on the ITF Pro Circuits and sharing her faith in Jesus to those she meets.
Great job getting to the FINAL, Ana, and GREAT job improving your game!

Great advice from a man who strives to live a Godly life. I’m always seeking to learn and gain wisdom from people who’s lives have real, healthy Fruit. I look for Fruit (life accomplishments) that shows to the world the passion God has placed in their hearts and the willingness to follow Him as He guides.
I look at a person’s life, then prayerfully decide if I believe in their wisdom or Godliness to the point of bringing their advice into my life as a mentor and guide.
God bless! Coach Scotty
CONGRATULATIONS to 5+ year Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy student, Ana Kharchenko, for winning her main draw doubles Quarterfinal match in Egypt, today! AWESOME! Semifinals vs #2 seeds tomorrow
Most people have very little idea of how difficult it is to be ranked high enough to be in ITF pro tournament main draws. (Ask ANY male pro trying to get or improve an ATP ranking!) To consistently win matches in main draws is pretty incredible. Few players worldwide EVER know what it is like to win even one pro match.
Proud of all girls we know worldwide who are working hard to succeed! Great job Ana!
